Mr. Ng Hoo Ming has contributed significantly to the Singapore cybersecurity scene. Since the 1990s, he had been involved in the emerging fields of data and telecommunications security, being a trailblazer in this regard. In 2009, as Director in the newly formed Singapore Technology Security Authority, Hoo Ming developed the national cyber defence framework for Singapore’s critical information infrastructure (CII) and was responsible to counter and respond to major cyber-attacks against the CII. With the establishment of CSA in 2015, Hoo Ming built up the CSA Operations Cluster, which covered the vital functions of incident response, analysis, investigation, and Cyber Threat Intelligence.

Shao Fei is a Principal Security Architect at Amazon Web Services and was formerly the CISO at Land Transport Authority. He is inducted as a Fellow of Singapore Computer Society as well as an AISP Validated Information Security Professional.

Shao Fei is a familiar face in the cybersecurity community, helming the SCS Cybersecurity Chapter, and serving as Executive Committee member in AISP and ISC2 Singapore Chapter. Well-regarded as a thought-leader, Shao Fei holds appointments in advisory boards and committees including the Coordinating Committee for Cybersecurity, Black Hat Asia Board of Advisors, GIAC Advisory Board and EC-Council Global Advisory Board. Shao Fei is passionate in leading the way, engaging the community, and inspiring both aspiring and practicing cybersecurity professionals in Singapore.

Eugene hacks for good! From Amazon to Zendesk , he helps secure products globally. At GovTech, he protects citizen data through offensive security research. He recently reported remote code execution vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office and Apache OpenOffice that affected hundreds of millions of users.

He also pursued research in AI-generated phishing that was selected to be presented at Black Hat USA and DEF CON 29, earning a feature in WIRED Magazine. As an active white hat hacker, he was selected from a pool of 1 million registered users to join the HackerOne Elite hall of fame for his achievements in consistency, criticality, and community.

As the Chief Growth Officer at Sekuro (Australia) and its Asia extension (Privasec), a leading cybersecurity and digital resiliency partner, Shamane’s contribution to the cyber field extends beyond the Singapore region. She founded Cyber Risk Meetup in 2017, a platform which allows sharing of knowledge and learnings, bridging the skill gap by bringing in top experts to mentor/ impart their experiences. Cyber Risk Meetup has now grown to more than 4,000 security members (across Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide). Within this community, she facilitated collaborative engagements between the industry leaders across Singapore and other countries conducting panel discussions and thought-leadership events.

Her passion for cybersecurity led her to author her first book, “Cyber Risk Leaders: Global C-Suite Insights – Leadership and Influence in the Cyber Age” which had seen a great response in major bookstores around Singapore, Australia, and other parts of Asia (sold out in Cambodia) and globally on Amazon. This book demonstrates the value of bringing together the best insights from a diverse group of industry leaders around the world.

Although the field is largely dominated by males, it has not deterred her from appearing in global podcasts and conferences; including meeting with industry leaders such as former President Obama's CISO, the first female CIO of the White House, Interpol, FBI and many more. As a representative from Singapore and multi-award cybersecurity winner, she is also a keynote speaker at various conferences across countries on ways businesses and executives can improve their security posture and cyber resilience.

Shamane is truly a huge advocate for women in security and a role model for the next generation. She also sits on the Black Hat Asia board of advisors, and her journey continues. She is now the first Singaporean female cybersecurity author to have her latest book “Cyber Mayday and the Day After” published by Wiley, one of the top global publishers, which very quickly made Amazon’s best-seller list across US, UK and Australia.

Pengfei is a prominent student leader who thrives on cool projects and community work. While undergoing his undergraduate studies in the Singapore Institute of Technology, he was awarded the IMDA SG:D Scholarship and founded the SIT N0H4TS cybersecurity special interest club, of which he continues to serve as an advisor. He has also represented Singapore on multiple global competitions and secured top positions.

Being a Cyber Protection unicorn founded in Singapore, Acronis will continue to contribute to Singapore's cybersecurity ecosystem, training up a pool of Cybersecurity talent in Singapore, participate in workshops to build awareness on Cybersecurity, and educate businesses and the public on the importance of implementing security as part of their operations and daily lives.
