Legal Investigative Technology Experts (LITE), formerly known as High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA)

About us:

LITE was formed to provide education and collaboration within AiSP for the prevention and investigation of high-tech crimes.

As such, we are a special interest group that aspires to help all those in the high technology field by providing extensive information, education, collective partnerships, mutual member benefits, astute board leadership and professional management.


Our Mission:

LITE is a special interest group within AiSP providing individuals utilizing investigative techniques and technology with innovative networking and training.


Our Vision:

To provide a platform for AiSP members who are keen in the high technology space, to participate in and benefit from each other’s expertise, so as to create a vibrant and dynamic ecosystem.

To support innovation and collaboration in the field across the government, law enforcement, academic, private industry, and legal communities.

Daniel Wang

Co-opted Committee Member

Daniel Wang is a Managing Director of FTI Consulting in the Technology segment based in Singapore. A computer and mobile forensics expert and a certified computer and mobile examiner, Daniel specializes in forensic collection, analysis, and expert reporting of digital evidence.

Recommended by Who’s Who Legal’s in Digital Forensics Investigations, Daniel has over twelve years of experience in Computer Forensics, Cyber, and eDiscovery. Daniel has previously worked at one of the Big Four accounting firms, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Technology Crime Forensic Branch (TCFB), and a financial institution. He was involved in research and development on live forensics and reviewed workflow process at the TCFB.

Daniel has led investigations into IP theft, information leakage, bribery and corruption, regulatory, and other employee-related misconduct. He has provided testimony in High and State Court trials in Singapore in line with Police investigations.
